Regarding your recent answer to the question of mortal sin and hell – If we are forgiven the moment we are truly sorry, is it necessary to abstain from receiving communion after committing a mortal sin until we go to confession? I haven't been going to confession or regular mass attendance (which will be changing soon), so when I do go to mass I usually feel awfully guilty and don't receive communion. Is this the right thing to do? Thanks for all you do for us tumblr Catholics, Father!
